SLBMI
Forensic Evaluation Division >> Forensic Evaluation Services >> Objective Psychological Testing
SLBMI Forensic Evaluation Division only uses objective, not projective, psychological tests. These tests are reliable and valid and are generally accepted by the psychological community. That is why they are found to be credible by judges and juries. Our experts have access to over 150 objective test instruments. The selection of tests to be used in a comprehensive psychological evaluation depends on the questions that need to be addressed by the trier of fact. Projective tests such as the Rorschach inkblot test are never used. Examples of the wide-ranging objective instruments used by SLBMI Forensic Evaluation Division include Ability to Waive Miranda Rights, Competence Assessment to Stand Trial, Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2, Test of Memory Malingering and the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-IV.
