 Dr. Kraushaar is a licensed psychologist for the Forensic Evaluation Division and a staff therapist at the Anxiety Disorders Center . She received a master's degree in forensic psychology from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 1996, and received her doctoral degree in psychology from the University of Denver . She completed her pre-doctoral fellowship at Yale Medical School . Dr. Kraushaar's interests include providing cognitive-behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety disorders and self-harming behaviors. She has worked in inpatient and outpatient treatment settings as well as correctional facilities. Dr. Kraushaar has performed numerous risk assessments for sex offenders and suicide risk evaluations for maximum security federal prison inmates.
